Adventsljusstake by Formtalk

March 8th, 2010 admin

The Adventsljusstake (Advent Candle Holder) by Formtalk is a candlestick holder with a design that provides fun to users by letting them use candlesticks in a variety of combinations. Adventsljusstake is a Swedish Christmas tradition in which they prepare candles starting on the fourth Sunday before December 25th and light one candle on each Sunday to keep them from darkness in addition to welcoming the birth of Jesus. Some people cut some parts of the candles off to maintain a perfect angle. ©2010 Design Milk | Posted by Catrina in Home Furnishings

Energy Calendar by Yurko Gutsulyak
The idea behind this calendar is to turn the process of each passing day into something spectacular. By burning each match that represents each day, it turns into a major event. It reminds me of blowing birthday candles, with each candle representing each year that the birthday celebrant has lived. [via OK Great ] ©2010 Design Milk | Posted by...

Panpaati by Enoc Armengol
These bread furnishings by Enoc Armengol make me so hungry. The concept behind them is that they can be a part of the living process because they can be eaten. In addition, they reflect the production process of certain non-edible objects: fast and having a short life before they become obsolete. I think they definitely beat candy necklaces. [via...
