Winter 2010 Axes by Best Made Co.

February 24th, 2010 admin

When I think of axes, I usually think of ax-wielding murderers. When I see these axes by Best Made Co. , I think of ax-wielding murderers dressed in classy tweed suits, super hero costumes or clown clothing. Just look at the polka dot handle design! An ax murderer using this ax has to be a clown (which makes it a bit more creepy, if you hate clowns). ©2010 Design Milk | Posted by Catrina in Art , Home Furnishings | Permalink | No comments | Tweet This | Share on Facebook Clothing – Facebook – Shopping – Polka dot – Superhero

Formula Chair by Miso Soup Design
This chair by designers Daisuke Nagatomo and Minnie Jan of Miso Soup Design is constructed out of eco-resin and CNC router. There is no production waste and no hardware is required to assemble the piece, which is always good news for people who hate to assemble furniture. Panpaati by Enoc Armengol
Panpaati by Enoc Armengol
These bread furnishings by Enoc Armengol make me so hungry. The concept behind them is that they can be a part of the living process because they can be eaten. In addition, they reflect the production process of certain non-edible objects: fast and having a short life before they become obsolete. I think they definitely beat candy necklaces. [via...

Mercardo Negro is a twelve-week project by Ramon Coronado that deals with transforming an everyday object into a completely new one. In this case, he disassembles shopping carts and uses the parts to create a chair, table, lamp, and swing. The project also hints at the lack of parks in Los Angeles. ©2010 Design Milk | Posted by Catrina in Home...
