I dislike scraping snow off of windshields, because I can never reach that spot in the middle without leaning against the snow-covered car and eventually winding up with melting snowflakes on my lap in the driver’s seat. So here’s a why-didn’t-I-think-of-that life hack from One Man’s Blog : Before a snow storm, throw a...
This home has 4 bedrooms, a roof deck and off street parking for 2 cars (concealed behind the facade). The interior space is simple, open, and very airy due to the smart use of windows (even though one of them faces a brick wall the light pours in from above). http://www.jcba.com.au ©2009 Design Milk | Posted by Joel in Architecture | Permalink...

Wrist-mounted control panels are a sci-fi staple, used to remote control anything from spacecraft to cars to time machines. And while the French iBike might not actually remote control anything, it certainly looks like a movie prop. The system is modular, and at its most basic (and cheapest — around $40) is simply a waterproof, arm-mounted...
This is a great space! The pavilion home on Redmond Street, Kew by Bojan Simic Architecture really stands out and at the same time, are nicely nestled into the tiered natural land. If you would like to taste authentic Vietnamese food but don’t really feel that tempted by having a motor bike driving through your noodle soup bowl in one of the countless street kitchens of Hanoi, nor want to risk Montezuma’s Revenge (particularly since the average Vietnamese toilet is just a hole in the ground with a water bucket...
Wildlife photographers will risk life and limb to get the perfect close-up, but a few ingenious hacks can make the process easier. Shutterbug Will Burrard-Lucas and his brother Matthew rigged up a four-wheel-drive, remote-control buggy called BeetleCam that has a DSLR camera mounted on top. Almost Wall-E like in its appearance, the BeetleCam...
